Ychydig wythnosau yn \u00f4l ar S4C darlledwyd rhaglen G\u0175r Geiriau<\/em> ar S4C. Rhaglen oedd hi yn dilyn Gwyn Thomas wrth iddo holi artistiaid o’r hyn yr ystyriant hwy i fod yn “awen” iddyn nhw, a sut yn union yr oeddynt yn dod i greu eu caneuon, eu paentiadau neu eu cerddi.<\/p>\n

Roedd yn enghraifft berffaith o rychwant diddordeb Gwyn Thomas, a’i allu dihafal o i wneud pethau haniaethol, dyrys\u00a0yn ddealladwy ac yn berthnasol i’w gynulleidfa. Roedd rhywun hefyd yn teimlo cynhesrwydd ac agosatrwydd cymeriad Gwyn Thomas.<\/p>\n

Yn y rhaglen honno, roedd darn bychan yn trafod yn ddigon cignoeth am farwoldeb y bardd, ac yntau wedi gweld cyfeillion iddo fel Mer\u00ead eisoes yn gadael y ddaear hon. Ond yn yr un gwynt, roedd gobaith y bydd\u00a0ei \u0175yrion\u00a0yma, yn dal i barablu a chymryd yr awenau oddi ar eu taid. Ceir cerddi yn trafod hyn hefyd yn y gyfrol “Murmuron Tragwyddoldeb a Chwningod Tsiocled” – cyfrol yr ydw i\u00a0yn cael blas arni unwaith eto wrth ddychwelyd at rai o gerddi Gwyn Thomas yn y dyddiau diwethaf.<\/p>\n

A’r marwoldeb hwnnw oedd y sbardun i’r gerdd hon. Fe’i cyfansoddwyd rhwng darlledu’r\u00a0rhaglen a marw GT (gan wneud ymddangosiad ar Dalwrn y Beirdd BBC <\/a>ar y ffordd) Yn y cefndir hefyd mae hanes fy nheulu i yn Nhanygrisiau. Hanai fy nhaid innau, a’i dad yntau o Danysgrisiau; ac\u00a0er nad oes neb o’n \u00a0teulu yn byw yno bellach mae Cwmorthin a chysgod Craig Nyth y Gigfran yn\u00a0dal i gyffroi ein synhwyrau o hyd pan ddychwelwn i ymweld \u00e2’r ardal.<\/p>\n

Rhyw chwithdod ychwanegol, felly, oedd clywed am farw Gwyn Thomas ar \u00f4l cyfansoddi’r gerdd hon. Tybed ai fi oedd y jincs,<\/em>\u00a0neu’r\u00a0melltith terfynol arno? Neu tybed ai rhaglen G\u0175r Geiriau <\/em>S4C oedd yr ergyd farwol? Nid GT fyddai’r cyntaf o blith mawrion y genedl i’n gadael yn fuan ar \u00f4l ymddangos ar raglen led-hunangofiannol ar S4C.<\/p>\n

Neu efallai nad oes melltith, ac nad oes grymoedd tebyd\u00a0yn bod, ac mai dim ond fel yma mae pethau; bod y bydysawd wedi troi ar ei echel yn grwn, a’i bod yn amser i’r\u00a0troad nesaf a hwnnw’n aros am neb. Dyna fyddai\u00a0sgwrs ddiddorol yng nghwmni difyr, deallus a chynnes Gwyn Thomas.<\/p>\n
