I am one of the organisers of the Bragdy’r Beirdd (Poet’s Brewery) poetry evenings in Cardiff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as arranging and curating gigs in Cardiff, Bragdy’r Beirdd has taken it’s nights to the Eisteddfod every year<\/a>. In these night, the poets usually celebrate local legends and feats. (2012) and Wylfa B (2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May 2020, Swig Sydyn<\/a> (Quick Swig), the first set of online poetry gigs was launched for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evenings were set up in 2011 by myself, Rhys Iorwerth and Catrin Dafydd. They are still held fairly regularly in Cardiff. Since Rhys moved to Caernarfon, evenings are also being held there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was part of the team that launched the first Swig Sydyn show<\/a> \u2013 the first online gig by Bragdy’r Beirdd<\/a>, in partnership with Rhys Iorwerth, Ll\u0177r Gwyn Lewis and Ifor ap Glyn. I was responsible for recording the event, editing the video and sharing it on YouTube and Facebook.<\/p>\n\t\n\t\t
